The first Powering Space event series was focussed on enabling space entrepreneurship.  We ran a series of events that equipped people with the skills to understand space, breaking down the jargon surrounding NewSpace, and brought together entrepreneurs, established space companies and public organisations to examine the challenges and opportunities that the space sector has, as well as where the space sector is heading.

These events led in to our own Startup Weekend, bringing together sixty entrepreneurs, designers, engineers and more to build NewSpace businesses, in a weekend.  During the event, nine teams formed, with four of them still working together over a year later.
